Top 100 Debut Indian Authors

Most welcome, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Aanchal:
I am a writer by choice not by default. Currently pursing MA in English Literature. I love reading novels, travelling and of course writing. I became a writer to bring out the various pent up emotions. These had accumulated in my thoughts during my travels and observations under varied situations more particularly gender equality.

That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Aanchal:
I had been observing evils in the society and pay rapt attention to the issues prevalent in our society. I wanted people to get sensitized about these maladies and let corrective actions be taken about them. During my brief stint as IELTS trainer I honed my language skills. During this period I had to do lot of reading and writing which provided me a platform to carve out poetry from my thoughts. My emotions sprouted like fountain head and without bothering for time I would keep on pouring out poems.

My close friends from Chandigarh and Australia prompted me to write and they provided mental support when I was about to quit. Concentration and drafting in mind poetry lines became practically feasible due to sacred blessings of our family spiritual Guru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj.

Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book. Why they should pick it up for reading?
Aanchal:
It is basically a collection of short poems. The poems are based on life experiences and everyone who has read this book, has told me they were able to relate it to in some way or another. And those who are still confused to give it a read or not if you are struggling with the issues of society. Anything related to your life book is for you.

And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Aanchal:
It is my personal opinion that some write a poetry book, that sells in the market by dubious means like plagiarism. Such people write irresistible that makes readers scramble down the page - begging to do whatever it is you want.

When they’re done reading. But writing is definitely a difficult task. When we have the idea, we don’t get the appropriate words to match with thoughts. When we have words the idea gets evaporated gets buried deep somewhere. When I attempt writing it remains my urge to keep holding on to the flow of thoughts. It is not an overnight process, patience and dogged perseverance are of paramount importance. Just followed my passion with dedication and smart work helped in achieving this poetry in book form.

Never ever I forgot to keep a Pen and a book with at all times. Never know when an Idea may strike and immediately write down.
