Most welcome, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Ankita: Although I love to read from childhood I never thought of become a writer or author. I was usually shy child and was very Ill from childhood which makes me to stay in my own world and keep reading books. Presently I am pursuing doctoral research studies in and also suffering from auto immune diseases, which may be hard to cure, but that does not make my goal and aspiration to get shattered, I would love to create my own niche, own happy world and my parents are extremely supportive and provide inspiration and will power to me. I was also involved in various kinds of activities like social work and story telling along with studies. I believe that every human being have stories within them , everyone life is different with struggle, goals and aspiration and that's what makes every person special and influential. No person or occupation can be judged. Everyone is fighting their own battle in life and that's what life is. We should embrace each other and be thankful with whatever we have in life and be kind and generous with each other.
That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Ankita: I thought to penned down my thoughts after I spend nearly one year in Indonesia by Ministry of Education and Culture Scholarship from Govt of Indonesia. I had largely explored the Java island of Indonesia as I had stayed in Central Java. What I have found the immense cultural linkages between India and Indonesia, especially Ramayana and Mahabharata. Indonesia is rich in culture and have too much ancient linkages with India. The people are nice and popularity of Bollywood and Indian culture is widespread. Every one can sing and dance to the tune of Bollywood movies and Indian tv series are very popular there. So I thought to write few memories about my experiences in this book but truly speaking I have seen and feel a lot more in Indonesia and this book is not entirely have all those experiences and love that I have received from them. I may be plan a next book scribbling all my experiences in the wonderful country.
Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book. Why they should pick it up for reading?
Ankita: This book is neither a travelogue nor an academic book in general, I just scribble my few experiences in Indonesia in this book. It would be interesting to know the culture and unknown places of Indonesia. Travelling is not always about visiting the scenic beauty and important monuments, sometimes you have to look into the culture and the people who made them. Sometimes you have to see the hospitality of people and sometimes you have to explore the linkages that connect us from our mysterious past. My book is all about this. I have received more love from the people, everywhere i visit they treat me as celebrity, they sing Bollywood number with me and shown me immense love. They introduce me to their culture and we get to know how much Javanese cukture are related to India. This book is all about people and love I have received from them.
And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Ankita: Writing is all about Expression of thoughts, opinions, feelings, memories, inspiration stories, struggle , achievements and literally everything. Every people have their own minds and thoughts and that need to be shared and expressed. Many new writers are fear of grammar, editing and marketing etc from the very beginning and that is obvious. But for me expression is more important than focus on Grammar and marketing at first level. One should write with their heart out and scribble the thoughts that lies inside the heart. Writing is all about expression of thoughts. So I urge all to write and Express rather than focusing and worrying on editing and marketing. Main thing is expression. Writing gives us freedom of thought and in future there Is better chance that the world will hear your voices and opinions and in future you can inspire or educate millions of people around the earth with your good thoughts and influential stories.
