Most welcome, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Dhruvin: I am an entrepreneur by profession and storyteller by hobby. I sell my products in a day time and lost in my own fictional world in night. As a person I am an extrovert, like to meet new people and building some new bond. I like to perform in open mic events and explore myself to people. My business offers me to travel to different places to market my product and meet whole bunch of new people. New people mean new stories. The world is full of hope and positivity.
That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Dhruvin: I used to write poetries and musings back in college days. I am amid reader as well; I used to read so many stories written by some great storytellers. So I started to write one but It was clear from the beginning that writing a love story is not my cup of tea. I never fell in Love, but I saw people who fell in love and had struggle maintaining that beautiful relation. The idea stepped in when I had a little fight with my friend and we stopped talking to each other. Then I started writing a friendship saga. In a world full of love stories, I tried to write a beautiful friendship story.
Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book. Why they should pick it up for reading?
Dhruvin: As I told you “Half Story, half goodbye” is not a love story. It’s a friendship story. A story of life long friendship and betrayed love. A story of choosing between Friendship and love. A story that makes you think, what is more important Friendship or Love? Or both?
Can a cup of ego and misunderstanding can break any relationship?
If people are tired of love stories, and want to read some fun loving yet rollercoaster story, they can pick it up.
And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
I believe everyone has a story to tell, and every story needs to be heard. First of all write your heart out on piece of paper, Whatever it may be, you got a thought? Write it down. Then read it out as you are reading some novels, if you find it boring at points, edit it, re write it. Make five to six drafts before making it final draft. People will read your story if you are good it narrating it. Believe me the process is tough, but there is no such thing as free lunch in this world. You must believe in your story and clear about what message you want to convey through your story.
